niio.sk sets no analytics cookies and no marketing cookies, and it counts page views without storing anything. What can be stored: the session cookie of the contact form, your answer in the cookie bar, and, only if you turn page counting off, the switch that keeps it off.

A page that shows the contact form sets a single cookie named _niio_sk_session. Its only purpose is to protect the form against request forgery, so that nobody can submit it in your name from another website.

It holds a random token and no personal data, it is never used for tracking, and it lasts until you close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary for a service you ask for, the law does not require consent for it.

The bar offers three answers: “Accept all” (page counting and session replays), “Only basic” (page counting only, which is also what happens until you answer) and “Reject all” (neither). Under “Settings” each can also be switched on or off on its own; session replays are recorded by the same installation that counts pages, so switching them on switches page counting on too. Your answer is kept in your browser’s local storage under niio_cookie_consent for twelve months, so the bar does not come back on every page. It holds only the answer and the date it expires.

If you turn page counting off, with “Reject all” or its own switch, we also set umami.disabled in local storage: the switch our analytics script reads before it counts a page view. It stays until you turn page counting on again.

Keeping your answer is necessary to respect it, so it needs no consent of its own. You can change it at any time with “cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Only if you allow it, the page loads recorder.js from analytics.niio.sk, our own server, which records a replay of your visit as the privacy policy describes. It stores nothing in your browser itself. Withdrawing your permission reloads the page without it.

The language of a page is part of its address: English pages have no prefix and Slovak pages start with /sk/. We do not remember your choice in a cookie.
